How it works

What does the marketplace image resizer do?

The Olli for Brands marketplace image resizer resizes product photos to the size a marketplace asks for, converts them to the right format, compresses them under a file-size cap and checks every result against the marketplace's published rules. Pick a preset or type a custom width and height, choose whether to crop the photo to fill the frame or add a background around it, then download each image on its own or the whole batch as one zip file.

Every file is processed in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and you do not need an account. Once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working even if you go offline. You can add up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP images per batch.

Presets use only rules a marketplace publishes on a public page, each linked to its source with the date we checked it. Where the rules are public (noon), the preset sets the format and file-size cap and checks every image for you. Meesho, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio, Nykaa Fashion and Tata CLiQ show their exact image size only inside the seller panel: choose Custom size and type the numbers your panel shows.

FAQs

Marketplace image resizer FAQs

Does the marketplace image resizer upload my images?

No. The Olli for Brands marketplace image resizer runs entirely in your browser: your images are read, resized, compressed and zipped on your own device and are never sent to Olli for Brands or any other server. That is also why it keeps working if you go offline after the page has loaded.

Which marketplaces have presets?

Where the rules are public (noon), the preset exports the format and file size the marketplace accepts and checks every image against its published rules. Meesho, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio, Nykaa Fashion and Tata CLiQ publish their exact image size only inside the seller panel, so pick Custom size and type the width and height your panel shows. The page lists where each panel keeps its image rules.

What does pad vs cover mean?

Cover crops the image so it fills the exact size you set, trimming whatever does not fit; nothing is stretched. Pad keeps the whole image and adds a white, light grey or black background around it to reach the size. Use Pad when the full product must stay in frame and Cover when a little cropping is fine.

How does the file-size cap work?

When you set a maximum file size, JPEG and WebP images are saved at a lower quality step by step until they fit under the cap. PNG is lossless, so its file size cannot be lowered this way; if a PNG is still over the cap, switch the output format to JPEG or WebP.

Which image formats does it support?

The resizer reads JPEG, PNG and WebP images and saves them as JPEG, PNG or WebP, or keeps each file's original format. You can process up to 50 images per batch and download them one by one or as a single zip file.

Why does Safari give me PNG instead of WebP?

Safari's built-in image encoder does not produce WebP, so when you ask for WebP it saves PNG instead. The resizer names the file .png and notes the switch in the results. If you need a smaller file in Safari, choose JPEG.

Is the marketplace image resizer free?

Yes. It is free to use with no account, no watermark and no limit on how many batches you run. It is made by Olli for Brands, whose Olli Studio service produces the product photos themselves: a done-for-you AI photoshoot that starts with 2 products free.
