How it works
What does the SKU image renamer do?
The Olli for Brands SKU image renamer gives a batch of product photos consistent names built from your SKUs. Paste a SKU list, drop your images and choose how they map: in drop order with a set number of images per SKU, or by finding each SKU in the original filenames. A naming pattern such as {sku}_{n} turns them into SKU-A_1.jpg, SKU-A_2.jpg and so on, and the preview shows every new name before you download anything.
Every file is renamed on your device: your files never leave your browser, nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else, and you do not need an account. The tool reads up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP images per batch and gives you back a zip of the same bytes under the new names, with one folder per SKU if you want. Nothing is resized, recompressed or converted.

How to rename product images by SKU
- Add your imagesDrop up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP files onto the tool, in the order you want them numbered.
- Paste your SKUsOne SKU per line, or paste the first column of a spreadsheet. Images without a SKU are kept and named "unassigned".
- Choose how images map to SKUsIn drop order, with a set number of images per SKU, or by matching the SKU already in each filename.
- Set the naming patternCombine {sku}, {n}, {index} and {original} with any separator, then choose zero-padding, lower-case extensions and a folder per SKU.
- DownloadCheck the preview, then save the files one by one or all of them as one zip file.

SKU image renamer FAQs
Does the SKU image renamer upload my images?
No. The Olli for Brands SKU image renamer runs entirely in your browser: your images are renamed and zipped on your own device and are never sent to Olli for Brands or any other server.
What do the pattern tokens mean?
{sku} is the SKU the image is assigned to, {n} counts the images within that SKU (1, 2, 3), {index} counts the whole batch in drop order and {original} is the file's old name without its extension. Anything you type between tokens, such as _ or -, is kept as the separator. Characters a filename cannot contain, such as / or :, are removed.
What happens if a SKU gets fewer images than I set?
Nothing is dropped. The status line notes each SKU that has fewer images than you set, for example 1 of 2, and images left over without a SKU are kept in an "unassigned" group, named with "unassigned" where the SKU would go.
What if two images end up with the same name?
The renamer adds -1, -2 and so on to the later files so no image overwrites another in the zip, and marks those rows in the preview. With one folder per SKU, names only need to be unique inside each folder.
Does renaming change my images?
No. Only the names change: the zip holds the same bytes you dropped, stored without recompression. To resize, convert or compress images, use the Marketplace Image Resizer.
What naming does each marketplace require?
Each marketplace sets its own image rules, and they change over time. The renamer does not apply any marketplace's naming rule for you, so check what your marketplace publishes before you upload.
