Free image upscaler for product photos

Make product photos 2×, 3× or 4× larger, or set an exact longest side, with sharp Lanczos-3 resampling. Free, no account, and your files never leave your browser.

Scale

Width and height grow by the same factor, so the proportions never change.

Lanczos-3 keeps edges crisp; Bicubic is quicker on big batches.

Adds edge contrast after the upscale. A little goes a long way.

How it works

What does the image upscaler do?

The Olli for Brands image upscaler makes product photos larger: 2×, 3× or 4× their size, or an exact length on the longest side, always in the same proportions. Every new pixel is computed with Lanczos-3 resampling, a classic formula that weighs the nearby original pixels so edges stay crisp instead of turning blocky or soft. An optional sharpen step adds edge contrast after the upscale.

It is maths, not AI. Upscaling makes an image bigger and cleaner-looking, but it cannot invent detail the original never captured, such as fabric texture or fine print. For that, you need a sharper source photo.

Every file is processed in your browser: nothing is uploaded, you need no account, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded. It reads JPEG, PNG and WebP and saves JPEG, PNG or WebP, or keeps each file's format. Output is capped at 8000 px on the longest side (about 64 megapixels), because a bigger image can run the browser out of memory.

Published rules

Check the published rules before you upscale

These are the image rules noon publishes on a public page, each linked to the page it was read from with the date it was checked. Upscaling changes only the pixel size, so check the other rules against the photo itself. Other marketplaces show their rules only in the seller panel, so check the minimum size in your seller panel.

Step by step

How to upscale product photos

  1. Add your imagesDrop up to 50 JPEG, PNG or WebP files onto the tool, or choose them from your device.
  2. Choose the scalePick 2×, 3× or 4×, or Longest side to set an exact size. Each image shows the size it will come out at, and any that would be too large are flagged before you start.
  3. Set quality and formatLanczos-3 is the sharper default; Bicubic is quicker on big batches. Add sharpening if edges look soft, then choose the output format and an optional maximum file size.
  4. Upscale and downloadSave the images one by one, or all of them at once as a zip file.

FAQs

Image upscaler FAQs

Does the image upscaler use AI or add detail?

No. It uses Lanczos-3 resampling, a classic mathematical filter, not AI. It makes an image larger with crisp-looking edges, but it cannot add detail the original photo does not have: a blurred texture stays blurred, only bigger. If a photo is too soft, a sharper source photo is the real fix.

How large can I upscale an image?

Choose 2×, 3× or 4×, or set the longest side in pixels and let the other side follow the proportions. Output is capped at 8000 px on the longest side (about 64 megapixels), because a bigger image can run the browser out of memory. An image that would come out larger is flagged before you start, and the rest of the batch still upscales.

Should I turn on sharpening?

Only if the upscaled image looks soft. Sharpen adds contrast along edges after the upscale, and a low setting is usually enough. Too much draws bright halos around edges, so check the result at full size. Sharpening is off by default.

Why does Safari give me PNG instead of WebP?

Safari's built-in image encoder does not produce WebP, so when you ask for WebP it saves PNG instead. The upscaler names the file .png and notes the switch in the results. If you need a smaller file in Safari, choose JPEG.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The Olli for Brands image upscaler runs entirely in your browser: your images are read, upscaled and zipped on your own device and are never sent to Olli for Brands or any other server. You need no account, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded.

How large do product images need to be for a marketplace?

Each marketplace sets its own minimum, and most show it only inside the seller panel, so check the minimum size in your seller panel before you upscale. Where a marketplace publishes its rules on a public page (noon), this page lists them with a link to the source.
